Meet the emmi of emmiknit. She is Emmi Páez. A first-generation Latina-American, feminist, and designer at heart. For her, emmiknit is more than a fashion brand; it’s her dream to provide, eco-conscious, well-made, well-fitting pieces that transcend trends for all women.
Her love affair with making and fashion was rekindled in 2019 when she discovered the vibrant charm of Mérida, Mexico. While splitting her time between the US and Mexico, she found her calling in creating wearable art in part inspired by the rich traditions and craftsmanship of Mexican artisans.
Emmi’s modern designs are a celebration of 90s minimalism, linen’s sustainability, and the Mexican tradition of hand crochet. In 2024, this vision blossomed into emmiknit—more than a brand, a celebration of real women. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and crafted to empower women, blending effortless elegance, and artistry with a deep respect for craftsmanship and the environment.

Produced in small batches, every garment is a work of wearable art – as unique as you are!
Craftsmanship and style meet environmental awareness at emmiknit. We source fabric and materials to be as easy on the environment as they are easy on the eyes. The production process, from design to the final mile, is continually reviewed to see where we can improve sustainability to provide you with a garment you are proud to wear.
